I'm a full time artist dividing my time mostly between the US southeast & Montana/Wyoming. I spend a lot of time in the field- photographing or plein-air painting. I work primarily in oil, casein, pastel, graphite, watercolor & ink (plus generally one sculpture a year). I also paint miniatures and am a co-founder of my state's miniature art society. I am a Lyme survivor and in my spare time I do rehab work with animals.

amazing artwork , are you a vizual/plastic artist ?? i mean did u take art as a career ??? ...how much you gain and how you work at it ?? o-o just asking cuz im taking  art in college

I started out as a museum curator doing art in my spare time, then started teaching art & painting part time, now I am a full time artist. It is important to learn a lot about art as a business and contracts  (as well as being able to meet deadlines for commissions) & build a good portfolio if you want to eventually go full-time! You also need to know a good bit about promotion,  advertising, & basic accounting. There are quite a few good books out these days that help.  & build contacts!
